Our story begins with Captain Jerry, and a life that has always been connected to the ocean. Growing up near the sea in Dominica, he spent his early years fishing, exploring the coastline, and learning the rhythms of the water. What started as a childhood passion eventually became a lifelong career.
Captain Jerry gained years of experience working as a dive master and boat captain before deciding to follow his dream and start his own operation. With determination and hard work, Island Style Fishing Whale Watching and Charters was born. Over time, the company grew into one of the island’s most trusted and authentic ocean tour operators.
The Business
Island style fishing Whale Watching and Charters is a family owned and operated business out of Dominica. Captain Jerry along with his wife started the operation in 2006 and have ever since aimed for the best services for our guests catering to their every need, fostering the best once in a lifetime experiences.

Our Vessels
Our 35ft 1989 Bertram “Bingo” is licensed with Maritime and registered with The Dominica Fisheries. Bingo is fire safety certified and equipped with all necessary life saving devices.
